The historic fishing village of Pouch Cove, the most easterly community in North America, is 20 kilometres north of St. John’s.
The East Coast Trail, a network of more than 220 kilometres of walking and hiking trails, is located on the doorstep of The Cottage By The Sea.
Enjoy icebergs, whales, scenic hikes, nearby lakes for canoeing and swimming, and an abundance of wildflowers and berries. Paint, write, or just sit by the large windows overlooking the ocean and watch the sun rise on the horizon where the sea meets the sky.
The cottage has one bedroom. It is ideal for a single
person, couple, or small family. The cottage is also environmentally friendly.
